Tomahawk Hut was originally built by Forest Officer Arthur Dale in 1927. Rebuilt in 2007, the hut is an example of an early Forest Commission Hut in the Alpine area of Victoria. The Hut has an open fire and the site also has a picnic table and fireplace. From Mansfield follow the Mt. Buller Rd to Sawmill Settlement, turn left on Carters Rd, follow for 11kms. Turn left onto Buckland Spur Tk.
