Linton Firefighter Memorial

Located in a small clearing in the forest, this site is dedicated to the memory of 5 fallen firefighters. With picnic tables, toilets and disabled parking provided, this area is perfect for quiet reflection or a picnic. The memorial itself is located a short walk into the forest from the carpark. While disabled facilities are provided at the picnic area, there is no disabled access provided to the memorial site. A quiet corner in the forest, surrounded by large eucalypts, the perfect spot for a quiet picnic. Local birdlife provide the perfect soundtrack for a quiet cuppa or a bite to eat. The site features 4 picnic tables, disabled parking and a disabled toilet. The memorial walk leaves from the picnic area and takes visitors down to the memorial to learn about the history of the site.
