Please noteThis is a remote campground, so please arrive well prepared. Campground access is by 4WD only. 2WD vehicles will need to park at the Gunneemooroo gate, located 3km from the campground. This campground is within the Dark Sky Park boundary. Please see our guide for suitable camping lights and use in this park, available at the visitor centre.

Facilities: Toilets, unpowered sites, unmarked sites | What to bring: Drinking water, cooking water, firewood | Price: There are no camping fees at this campground but a $6 booking fee applies. | Visitor facilities: Tank water is available at this campground, but you’ll need to treat or boil it before drinking. Please note that the tank is reliant on rainfall to fill, therefore water may not be available at time of your visit. Rubbish bins are not available - please take rubbish with you when leaving. Toilets Non-flush toilets Types of sites Unpowered sites Unmarked sites | Prohibited: Drones Flying a drone for recreational purposes is prohibited in this area. Drones may affect public enjoyment, safety and privacy, interfere with park operations, or pose a threat to wildlife. See the Drones in Parks policy . This area may be a declared Drone Exclusion Zone, or may be subject to Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) rules for flying near airports, aerodromes and helicopter landing sites.
