Please noteCheck in 2pm, check out 10am. Maximum 6 guests, 2 vehicles and 1 caravan or camper trailer per site. Campfires are not permitted on the ground. Please bring your own firepit or brazier, or hire one from the Diamond Head office. You can buy food and supplies in Harrington, about 7km from the campground.

Facilities: Toilets, unpowered sites, marked sites, barbecue facilities, outside shower, picnic tables, carpark | What to bring: Drinking water, cooking water, fuel stove | Visitor facilities: Campsites are marked and most are suitable for tents only. Limited sites are available for small caravans (under 15ft/4.6m), camper trailers and campervans. Drinking water is not available. We encourage you to take your rubbish with you. Please be considerate of others and keep noise low. Noise restrictions apply from 10pm. Toilets Non-flush toilets Types of sites Unpowered sites Marked sites Barbecue facilities Bring your own firepit or brazier. You can buy firewood and ice from the office at Diamond Head campground . Collecting firewood from the park is not permitted. Gas/electric barbecues (free) Outside shower There's an outdoor cold-water beach shower. Picnic tables The picnic tables come with picnic shelters. Carpark Step-free access The campground is flat and step-free, with a gravel pathway that leads to the amenities block. To reach the other areas of the campground, you'll need to cross over flat grass. Step-free outdoor pathways | Permitted: Camp fires and solid fuel burners Campfires must be contained in your own firepit or brazier (bring your own). Campfires on the ground are not permitted. Fishing Spear fishing is permitted in designated areas only. | Prohibited: Amplified music is not permitted. Chemical toilets are not permitted. Campfires on the ground are not permitted.
